Rosemary Beach

Tranquil, quiet luxury along Florida’s northern Gulf shore.

Welcome to Rosemary Beach

One of Florida’s most quaint communities is found in Rosemary Beach. Picturesque streets, white, sandy beaches, and statuesque homes boasting upper-level balconies are a few of the common perks of life where beachfront luxury meets cozy, quiet tranquility. Rosemary Beach is home to some of Florida’s best golf courses, fresh, Gulf seafood, and plenty of spots to enjoy a swim or simply lay out and soak up some vitamin D. Unlike larger Floridian cities, Rosemary Beach still possesses a quiet, small-town feel, even in the midst of its “busy” summer season.

Though Rosemary Beach may appear as a sleepy, small town, pockets of luxury can be found around every corner. Restaurant Paradis is a rustic, yet upscale site where patrons enjoy surf-and-turf favorites. Crabcakes, filet, seared scallops, and other local fish are savored in a chic dining room, perfect for enjoying an intimate night out. Spanish-style tapas and desserts are found at La Crema Tapas. Small plates of paella, crabcakes, empanadas, and more are enjoyed with wine, local brews, and colorful cocktails. La Crema is also widely regarded as the best place in Rosemary Beach for desserts. Chocolate fondue, molten lava cake, and loaded cookies are favorites among locals looking to satisfy their sweet tooth. Pescado Seafood Grill & Rooftop Bar serves a delectable menu in a bright, contemporary setting. This casual fine dining option has also mastered pork belly, short ribs, and hosts a stellar Sunday brunch, frequently enjoyed from the rooftop patio. Another casual option adored by locals is Cowgirl Kitchen. Southwestern cuisine, pizzas, and ice-cold brews are enjoyed in a cozy dining room, or out on their sunny patio, usually with live music in the background. Live music is also appreciated at the 30A Songwriters Festival. Held each January, 30A boasts over 175 artists who put on more than 225 performances across 30 venues across town, as part of the largest celebration of its type in the area. A highly anticipated event by all since 2010, it is also one of the most prestigious songwriting festivals in the nation. One venue which frequently hosts these events is SoWal House, also part art gallery and media production company. It is the perfect venue for important meetings, intimate get-togethers, business conferences, or smaller office parties. The shoreline is also home to a number of other event venues like Rosemary Beach Town Hall, the Western Green, and Eastern Green, all of which are popular venues for hosting weddings and other gatherings.

Rosemary Beach children attend school within Walton County School District, one of the better-ranked districts within the state. The Ohana Institute is an excellent, local private school option, with 98% of its graduates going on to pursue higher education at a four-year university.
