Inlet Beach

A peaceful, laid-back, and extensive stretch of coastline.

Welcome to Inlet Beach

Walton County’s easternmost community of Inlet Beach is a peaceful neighborhood situated on a long stretch of beautiful Gulf beaches. Stunning homes along 30A are built in quintessential Floridian coastal style, allowing residents to fully live the resort lifestyle year-round. This authentic “old Florida” neighborhood boasts locally owned shops, an abundance of fresh seafood, and a cool, casual vibe not always found in oceanfront towns. On Inlet Beach, the past meets the present where locals enjoy a plethora of modern amenities, while still enjoying the untouched beauty of extensive beaches and sandy dunes along the longest stretch of public beaches in the area.

While lazy days at the beach and explorations at nearby state parks are common, so are celebratory evenings spent feasting on fine seafood and other comforting creations. 30Avenue is Inlet Beach’s bustling shopping and dining hotspot. Art galleries, yoga studios, and boutiques make up 30Avenue, in addition to a number of delicious eateries, such as Cuvee 30A. This upscale eatery specializes in American classics, steaks, and seafood. A great happy hour, breezy patio, and polished dining room make this a top choice among locals to celebrate special occasions, or just enjoy a night out of the house. Amici 30A is a more casual option, specializing in modernized Italian favorites. Woodfired pizzas, meatballs, and chicken parmesan are a few of their best sellers, all of which are best followed up with their delectable tiramisu. Beachfront dining is enjoyed at Hook’d Pier Bar & Grill. This quintessential seafood shack is known for their seafood tacos, bang bang shrimp, crabcakes, fried oysters, and other regional specialties which are enjoyed in a casual dining room overlooking the Gulf, frequently paired with colorful, frozen adult beverages. Inlet Beach is also home to some of the nation’s most gorgeous beaches stretching for miles and miles. Inlet Beach is divided into two sections across nearly 14 acres of untouched beauty. Since its creation in 2017, Cobia Reef has become home to a plethora of marine wildlife. This artificial reef has allowed visitors to witness fish, dolphins, turtles, rays, and more in an artificially safe environment. Camp Helen State Park is another expansive site to view native wildlife and Floridian scenery. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Camp Helen stretches across 180 acres. Patrons can swim, hike, study wildlife, and comb the beaches for hidden treasures year-round. At nearly 800 awe-inspiring acres, Lake Powell is another protected wonder with a unique ecosystem all its own.

Inlet Beach is located close to many great schools within Walton County School District. Located immediately within the community, The Ohana Institute is another highly ranked private school, serving children from three years of age all the way through high school. It is one of the best schools of fine arts in the state of Florida boasting a 100% graduation rate.
